This apron sewing pattern gives tissue patterns and instructions for you to make a collection of full aprons and one waist apron. There are bib aprons, cobbler aprons, and barbeque aprons. The BBQ apron has self neck strap and tie ends, piping and lace trim. The cobbler aprons are lined and have rick-rack trim and side ribbon ties with optional elastic waist casing. The lace trimmed bib apron has self lined bib and skirt gathered to waistband with tie ends. Most edges are encased in bias tape. Of course, you can never have enough pockets on an apron. This pattern offers roomy patch pockets, as well as divided pockets. Aprons haven’t changed much over the year, but now we need a pocket for our cell phones, too. I prefer full aprons that don’t snug up around my neck like the BBQ aprons do. I like a cobbler apron or a full bib apron. But you can choose whichever style suits you.
