Very versatile, modest dress has extended shoulders and shoulder pads, loose-fitting, *blouson bodice, elastic at the seamed waistline, back zipper, long sleeves or sleeveless, and narrow hem. It has a round neckline or an optional **bias collar, and an attached semi-fitted and flared, ***gored skirt.

*Blouson is a garment, like a blouse, jacket or dress, with a fitted waistband that causes excess fabric to blouse above the waistline.

**Bias is when woven fabric is cut crosswise across the grain.

***A gored skirt has sections wider at the bottom than the top. They eliminate bulk in the waist and hip, and taper outward to form an”-line.
